Nissan Institute Christmas campaign collects books and toys
This year, Santa Claus found some more powerful assistance to make his Christmas deliveries. The New Nissan Frontier was deployed to help him, as part of a campaign to collect books and toys at Nissan.
In Resende, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, donations were handed over by “Volunteers of Value” to around 80 children who take part in the “More Compassion” project in the neighborhood of Cidade Alegria. In the city of Rio de Janeiro, the focus was on books, donated to the library of the “Caju, a new perspective” project, in the neighborhood of Caju. In São José dos Pinhais, Paraná, volunteers from the Nissan Institute and Renault Institute joined forces to help 5,000 children in the municipality’s communities. Volunteering activity in São Paulo was focused on painting at the Casa do Zezinho Association.
“Nissan Frontier, Santa Claus’ official helper” is the name of a regional campaign taking place simultaneously in 12 Latin American countries. The aim is to strengthen the company’s commitment to local communities and social issues.
