Team Nissan para-athlete visits Casa do Zezinho

Swimmer Susana Schnarndorf tells her story

On November 7, Susana Schnarndorf, a great Paralympic swimmer (world champion in 2013 and silver medalist at Rio 2016) and Team Nissan member, visited Casa do Zezinho, an NGO in São Paulo, to find out about this project supported by the Nissan Institute and to share her experience with the children involved in it.

The children asked many questions during the chat and they also took the opportunity to take lots of selfies with the champion and her Rio 2016 Games medal. The visit was particularly special for a boy called Vitor. A keen swimmer, he had the chance to tell his story to Susana, who gave him a customized swimming cap as a token of inspiration and determination.

The Team Nissan para-athlete was impressed by the project founded by Tia Dag and she promised to return soon to swim with its students. The Nissan Institute and Casa do Zezinho look forward to this!
