Young people visit Nissan’s office and attend talks
The Nissan Institute’s “World of Professions” project, which is aimed at helping youth choose their future professional careers, arrived in São José dos Pinhais, Paraná, on December 7. In this first edition in the municipality, the “Volunteers of Value” group received 15 young people who participate in activities at the Borda Viva Association, an NGO, and talked about important points when it comes to choosing a profession.
Sabrina Vasco, a volunteer in Nissan’s Human Resources area, spoke about personal development plans, while Daniel Leite, from the Quality Engineering area, gave a talk on “The value of education,” discussing the possibilities of studying without spending much money. Guilherme Fernandes, from the Product Cost Control area, talked about “Professions without frontiers” and discussed Nissan’s plant in the state of Rio de Janeiro and different career options.
These talks were mediated by Nissan’s product development manager, Wilson Parisotto, and they were organized and planned by Diana Moisés, a Nissan Institute volunteer and board member.
In all, 39 participants, aged 12 to 35, were given advice on choosing their future careers, and they also got to see a Nissan Kicks vehicle up close.
