6th edition of Nissan Leaf project boosts education
The Leaf at Schools project is accelerating! With the help of two Volunteers of Value from the Nissan Institute, Jefferson Castro and Reginaldo Matos, the world’s best-selling electric car is visiting more places in Resende. In September, besides seeing the Leaf close-up, students at Instituto Educacional Gênesis, a school, were able to visit our plant’s everyday operations.
“This experience has had a big effect on them. It’s great to know that we contributed to their awareness and that Nissan has shown that technology and sustainability can go hand in hand.” (Reginaldo Matos, Volunteer of Value)
One week later, 10 students selected by the school gave impressive presentations at a Science Fair.
